CONSHOHOCKEN, PENNSYLVANIA – March 14, 2012 – Invata Intralogistics, a global provider of supply chain and facilities optimization, software and controls, today announced that Steven O’Brien has been named Senior Account Executive. In his new role, Mr. O’Brien will be responsible for new business development of supply chain optimization services and facility automation systems and the integration of Invata’s growing suite of in-house supply chain execution software, including WCS, WMS and OMS systems. He will also play a major role in the company’s expansion into leading edge packaging and cartonization projects.
Mr. O’Brien has more than 27 years experience in sales and sales management and more than 15 years in the packaging manufacturing and distribution industry. He was recruited by Invata because of his reputation for developing innovative solutions for his clients as well as his reputation for ownership and accountability. Mr. O’Brien is also highly regarded for building substantial and loyal client bases; in his role at a major plastics manufacturer he created and grew a national sales organization to more than $60 million in sales in less than 12 years. He has a BS in Economics from Boston College.
